chance of sun coming back starting out in the northern and western suburbs. 635 degrees on the bus stop. not a bad start up up in april. 66 in in allentown. that's not a bad number. 66 in trenton. 61 in cape may. winds are light. as we roll through the day, 63 by 7:00 a.m. 69 by noon. showers in through here, 73 by 3:00 p.m. with a high of 74 around 4:00 p.m. and then we're probably holding on to 70 by 7:00 a.m. the pollen count is up high today tomorrow and wednesday and thursday, topsy-turvy temperature profile coming up in the seven seven day. >> reporter: let's hit the roads and see what monday brings us, we have light volume, 202 at the schuylkill expressway, traffic is moving just fine. vine, westbound traffic heading toward the schuylkill expressway very light volume.

hours ago a couple of shootings one person is dead. just hours ago police say a 27-year-old man was shot in the chest in southwest philadelphia along the 2200 block of felton street. the man was pronounced at the scene. not long before that, another shooting in feltonville section. temple hospital notified police two men and women arrived in a private vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. officers were told an unknown man shot them in a confrontation this morning shootings come as police investigate 15 others two that ended with the person dead. both victims were in their 20s and died at the scene. their killers are on the loose. this map shows the shootings took place across the city. handguns were used in each case. no arrests have been made.

homicide count is up, compared to this time last year, 1%, police commissioner, richard ross said this is a deadly combination of poverty, guns and lack of problem solving skills. reporting live at police headquarters, jeanette reyes channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. new this morning, camden police are trying to identify the person who was found dead along the delaware river. the body was discovered last night near the adventure aquarium. two people walking along the river discovered the remains floating along the banks. it is not known if the victim is mail or female or how the person died. a quick-moving fire damaged row homes in morrisville, bucks county. when firefighters arrived flames were shooting from the homes on park avenue. fire officials are working to figure out how the blaze started. >> developing now, the search continues for a man who video taped the execution of an

apparent stranger and posted it to facebook. police in cheerveld -- cheerveld cheerveld -- cleveland are warning people to be on alert for steve stevens. it shows him stopping 74-year-old goodwin senior engaging him in a conversation and shooting him from point blank range. the victim's family is astounded. >> it's not real. >> i don't know what i am going to do. >> police believe stevens did not know the victim and picked someone at random. he claimed to have killed other people, however police have not verified any other shootings. authorities say he should be consider armed and dangerous. the fbi is asking in the investigation. the trial continues for the man charged in the fatal ambush

brief period of shower activity. 3:00 p.m. this is down by the coast, it might push to the south sooner, i can't rule this out, certainly. we'll be looking at brightening skies, maybe the sun punching holes in the clouds behind the rain and brighter still today. 64 degrees by 8:00. 66 by 10:00. 69 degrees by lunchtime. again spotty shower activity possible in through here. 3:00 p.m., 73, high of 74 rather late in the day. 73 in allentown. similar numbers in trenton, reading, philadelphia, wilmington, and millville, dover, 74. down the shore on or about 70 degrees very close to that. tomorrow with clearing overnights and winds dieing down a little bit we'll see the temperatures drop. by the morning we'll be in the low to upper 40s depending on where you are, upper 40s near philadelphia. in the afternoon tomorrow, a little cooler only the 60s.

hall camera. it is 5:42 a.m., 65 degrees, won't be as warm as yesterday, but still feeling pretty good out there. >> how you doing, karen? >> reporter: i'm doing great, i missed you matt, i'm happy you're here and i am happy to be away from the home life and here at work. just being honest on a monday morning. route 100 at commerce drive, traffic moving nicely this morning in exton, chester county. no big problems out there. we're watching for showers, we're dry right here, route 100, no issues traveling. construction crews working on the northeast extension southbound between the turnpike and mid county blocking the labels from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. doing bridge extension on the northeast extension. this is the boulevard extension southbound traffic heading toward the schuylkill expressway moving nicely at this point. no delays on the schuylkill expressway, so the boulevard heading near that area is moving

nicely, as well. in west chester we have cruise blocking both directions of 926 stick to lenape as the alternate. on the commuter traffic report coming in from cherry hill, new jersey, coming into center city, 295, walt whitman bridge, the schuylkill expressway it's an easy 25 minute ride. that's the best route to take you there. we're not seeing any showers in new jersey. we have a couple of sprinkles out to the west looking for that right now that we'll see clouds and sunshine with a shower around, 65 degrees, the current temperature, that feels pretty good. 56 in allentown. 66 in millville. we're staying above average today, not as summer-like as yesterday, but 74 sounds like a nice high. >> this is surveillance video of a stolen flat bed tow truck being used in a bank robbery in southern california. the truck crashed through the front entrance leaving the mess hind. soon after the robbers emerged.

police don't know if they attempted to steal an atm machine, oddly enough no money was missing. vice president mike pence visited the dmz as the north korean show of force failed. a medium range missile blew up upon launch. some suggest a u.s. cyber hacking job is the reason why it failed. he called the test a provocation. president trump is hopeful that china will put pressure on the north to abandon its weapons program. today marks 4 years since the deadly boston marathon bombing.

this year they will use drones to feedback information to police on the ground. united airlines continues to make changes after a passenger was forcibly and violently removed from the flight last week. they are changing their policy on giving staff members seats on passenger flight. in the future, crew members will be allocated seats an hour before departure. united said the move is aimed at improving customer service. a new mom in ohio has an unforgettable story to tell her drawer, she was experiencing contractions all day, she called 911. moments after the officer arrived, her water broke. >> it seemed like everything was happening very quickly. i would say less than three

douglass crossed into upper darby that's where he ran down a woman and child. he then carjacked a vehicle and took off. douglass was injured during the crash. he was arranged at crozer-chester hospital where's being treat. the search for a person who shot a 13-year-old in berks county. police have an arrest warrant matthew hail he shot the boy through his bedroom window. the boy and two friends were in the victim's bedroom a car pulled in the driver way a man came to the window and punched the screen in and started shooting, the 13-year-old was critically injured. members of the enon tabernacle church gave a lesson on the teachings of jesus christ. church leaders joined members of
